The 25th Congress of the Ibero-Latin American College of Dermatology (CILAD), held in Porto from 27 to 31 October, was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with the international dermatology community, share knowledge and continue strengthening the relationships we have built over the years.
The participation of our Sesderma and Mediderma teams, alongside colleagues and representatives from our international subsidiaries, particularly in Latin America, played a key role throughout the event. These days gave us the opportunity to exchange experiences, strengthen relationships with clients and healthcare professionals, and continue expanding our international presence.
Throughout the congress, both brands showcased their latest innovations to dermatologists, physicians and healthcare professionals from different countries, reaffirming our commitment to research, innovation and medical education. One of the highlights was the symposium organised by Mediderma and led by Dr. Carlos Echevarría Escribens, focusing on microneedling and exosomes, which explored new perspectives in skin regeneration.
Our Support for Madrid’s 2031 Bid
During the congress, we also had the opportunity to show our support for Madrid’s bid to host the 2031 World Congress of Dermatology, led by the Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (AEDV).
This initiative represents an opportunity to raise the international profile of Spanish dermatology and recognise its contribution to scientific and medical progress.
Thank You to Everyone Who Made It Possible
We would especially like to thank all our Sesderma and Mediderma teams, our colleagues from our international subsidiaries, and everyone across the different departments who contributed to preparing and making our participation in CILAD 2026 possible.
Our sincere thanks also go to all the clients, distributors, partners, dermatologists and industry professionals who visited our stand, shared their experiences with us and joined us throughout the congress.
We leave with valuable connections, fresh ideas and, above all, the satisfaction of continuing to move forward together.
