Today, Sesderma launched its first office in Shanghai, in line with its wide-ranging international expansion plan and as a celebration of its 30th anniversary.
The launch was hosted by Dr Gabriel Serrano, the dermatologist and founder of the laboratories and the Sesderma China team, with the presence of celebrities of the Chinese public scene, influencers and representatives of the Spanish and Colombian embassy in Shanghai. The ceremony began in the new offices, that is located in one of the most prominent and affluent streets, followed by dinner at the hotel St. Regis Shanghai Jingan.
Since 2007, the Chinese market is key in the international expansion strategy of Sesderma. This has driven the laboratories to creating their own structure, deploying the necessary human team. The aim is no other than controlling in a direct way the whole chain of value between our manufacture and the Chinese consumer.
In this new phase, the business model will focus on Cross-Border E-commerce or CBEC, and through several E-commerce platforms, such as Tmall Global (owned by Alibaba). The next months will see the activation of offline sales in several sales points, once the products have been registered through the CFDA.
