There are close to a hundred dead and the number of infected people continues to grow. In this situation, the Valencian dermo cosmetics laboratory Sesderma decided to support the Chinese population by sending masks to the city of Wuhan, epicentre of the health crisis, where more than 46 million people are currently in quarantine.

In the past few days, the virus has expanded to more countries, so the use of these protective masks is one of the main recommendations by Chinese authorities to stop its further spread. The lab has already implemented all procedures for urgent shipping to Wuhan in order to help prevent further contagion among the population.

The Sesderma labs, founded 30 years ago by Dr. Gabriel Serrano, have seen their turnover skyrocket over the last four years in the Asian country: from 33 million euro in 2014 to 80 million euro by the end of 2018, which meant an increase of 21% compared to the previous year. Sesderma’s quality and innovation are the main attributes that appeal to Chinese customers, thanks to which it is one of the leading cosmetic labs of Spanish origin by turnover. This means a business success in a sector with huge competition within China, a strategic market for the international expansion of the lab.
